Judging Criteria

  • Problem Solving
    Does the app solve a clear problem? Does the app show a clear innovation in the way it solves that problem? Is the idea original and creative?
  • Usability
    Is the app easy to use? Are the features useful and well scoped? Is the design engaging for the user?
  • Impact
    Can the app reach users on a large scale? Is there a bigger vision (roadmap) and potential for the future of the app? Does the app respect the theme of "For a Greater Workplace"?
  • Marketing
    Did the team deliver a presentation of quality to the judges (quality of keynote/powerpoint, etc) Is there a landing page / mini-website to showcase the app? Does the team show a hint of how the app could be marketed to grow its user base?
  • Team & Spirit
    Did they show they had a strong team that's well-balanced (dev, marketing, design)? Was the team present to the social gatherings and spread good vibes? Did they interact in the Slack channels? Were they helpful and cooperative?
  • People's Choice
    If the team is in the top 25% of votes = 1/1 point
